2017 Ford Explorer Wins Respect of MotorWeek

If you're in the market for a full-size crossover, we here at Hines Park Ford Inc think you should make a point to try ours -- the 2017 Explorer -- on for size.

And why is that, exactly?

Gain some context from the clip below; here with their analysis of the Explorer are the vehicular gurus at MotorWeek:

We're admittedly blown away by the Explorer's base engine, a 3.5-liter V6.

Syncing with a six-speed automatic transmission, the V6 turns out a terrific 290 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque. Standard fare includes front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is optional.

And the entry-level engine definitely delivers the goods in terms of fuel economy, too, as front-drive models, for instance, are expected to return 20 mpg combined (17 city/24 highway).

If you'd like to meet this sensational SUV "in the metal," or wish to put one through its paces on the open road, we encourage you to pay us a visit at our New Hudson, MI location. Upon your stopover, we'll be sure to set you up with a test drive in the Explorer, or any other Ford model that's engendered your interest.
